About
Bachelor of Fine Arts, finished in 2011 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Cuenca, University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM), with honours at her Final Project which consists of a multiscreen video installation. She works and is specialized in the field of new media through the Master in Visual and Multimedia Arts by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2012). Currently she is a PhD in Arts and Humanities at the University of Castilla La Mancha with a pre-doctoral fellowships by the Council of Castilla La Mancha researching on the archaeology of the media since the advent of the automatic processes of [re]production, transmission and printing of images emerged with the printer in the 60s and related to the Media Art. Related to this, she also is dedicated to curate exhibitions about Media Art and the archaeology of the media as the exhibition: "Processes: The Artist and the Machine. The audiovisual as register and memory in Media Art.", on the occasion of the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, exhibition, from 27 th to 31st of October.of 2014 at the Long Room of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cuenca. On the exhibition could be seen for the first time in an open public display, the audiovisuals of the MIDECIANT´s documentary archive, dialoguing with some of its most meaningful tangible artworks from its Electrographic Art Collection. Few audiovisuals that allow reflecting on the concept of process which revolutionized artistic creation when automatic electrographic machine appeared in the 60s, admitting the process to cease being an irremediable way towards the final artistic object to become research-creation. The process itself is methodology for creative practice. Moreover, and related to new museology, she is researching new ways for the musealization of specific and peculiar unknown collections as MIDE collection. And continued in the month of April 2015 with the exhibition "Confluences. Seven variations on curating historic Media Art ", an exhibition composed of seven micro-exhibition curated by the students of the Master in Research in Artistic and visual practices of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Cuenca, that depart from its own strategy and research methodology around the CAAC funds, where is evident the constant search of the artist, thanks to its playful instinct, of the continuous experimentation and research as a way of knowing, through the automatic machine as a glance on what surrounds him. From the most banal objects to people which form its context and to the surrounding space itself but, above all, the machine as a way to knowing oneself by the most erotic intersection with technology, that even goes beyond the footprint, and allows our instant and ubiquitous representation.

She has had a grant holder of Excellence by the Council of Castilla La Mancha for four years, from 2006 to 2010, because of academic excellence. Because of this, she has been a research scholarship of Initiation to Investigation for three years, from 2007 to 2006, in which she worked in the International Museum of Electrographic (MIDE), researching, among others: the concept of physical museum over the virtual museum, the evolution and development of semiotics in web space or writing texts from the research on new technological developments through the Collaboration Agreement I + D + i between MIDECIANT-and Apple company MGV-Valencia, and, overall, she started a new inventory of art works from the permanent collections of MIDE.

She is member of Cultural Interfaces, Art & New Media Research Group, led by Jose R. Alcalá himself, conducting researches and texts in the area of new media. Moreover, she is in two I+D projects: one with regional and European funds to conserve and restore the funds of the MIDE; and the other, with European funds to manage, conserve and revaluate Collections and Archives of Contemporary Art (CAAC) of Cuenca.

Moreover, she is the co- author of numerous research articles, essays and publications about Digital art & culture, among them: Museos. Del templo al laboratorio. La investigación teórica by Juan Carlos Rico, La enseñanza de la Museografía. Teorías, métodos y pogramas by Juan Carlos Rico ,too.

As an artist, she is dedicated to the visual and multimedia plane of art and she has been selected for festivals as Mi.Mo, INCUBARTE Festival or FEM CODE: Arte+mujeres+tecnología.
