About
Roz Dimon is an artist who has been painting with a digital brush for over 30 years after her oil paintings began to fill with pixels in the 1980s.

Her work in digital media was featured in 1991 in Forbes Magazine with David Hockney and she has eight digital works in the permanent collection of AT&T. Dimon led some of the earliest new media initiatives for Lehman Brothers, Deloitte., and The Wall Street Journal online. She curated "CODE" in 1995 (code1995.com) Post 9/11, Dimon created a new form of art and storytelling that invite all into an artwork's immersive experience via a common smart device. (iPhone, Android, iPad)

A recent commission by The Children's Museum of Long Island during COVID featured an interactive work she co-created with Latinx children working entirely via ZOOM and was supported by grants from the National Endowment for The Arts (NEA), The New York State Foundation for The Arts (NYSFA) and The Institute for Museum & Library Sciences (IMLS).

Dimon has a piece in the permanent collection of The 9/11 Memorial Museum and is a member of the Carter Burden Gallery in New York City.

Her work was recently featured in one of the first curated shows of NFTs called "NFT NOW" curated by Anne Spalter for Techspressionism.com.
