Art + Technology Series: Richard Mosse + Luz María Sánchez https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtHzL4NJisJVozqX0kklGfA

EPISODE 12: What is Truth? PART 1: Violence: Seen & Heard | What is Truth? In this episode, we meet two incredible contemporary artists whose work with technology explores the complexities of VIOLENCE. Guided by writer and scholar Macarena Gómez-Barris, we find out what drives them to make work that explores this topic. Join us as we meet artist Richard Mosse, whose sublime documentary photography and film works shine a light on often forgotten conflict zones around the world and Luz María Sánchez whose experiments with sound work call attention to the ongoing and terrifying disappearances of women in Mexico. Can art and technology change our understanding of conflict and violence? ART+TECHNOLOGY is brought to you by Hyundai Motor Company and produced in partnership with Bloomberg Media Group.
