Located between the home video and the reality show the work (9 minutes) presents a Newyorker Christmas scene focusing on the commerce of toys , a thematic park at Macy´s magazine and the Christmas decoration of street display windows. The narrative is compounded of an overwhelming ammount of audiovisual elements creating a barroque chaos, a shopping ride that becomes a sort of nightmare. The music determines the pathos of the work and it incorporates elements of the original environments. The video belongs to the series "American Lessons Project Mobile Living-Room". The title refers to Italo Calvino´s book "Lezioni americane Sei proposte per il prossimo millennio". (source: http://smichelin.art.br/english/single.html)
