The PerformanceInsideOut event took place on the 13 May 2006 between 9 to 12 PMat The Chicago Art Department (CAD) Gallery and was streaming on the internetat the same time. The performances were developed in a framework for {screen|time|code}-based on new media. The audience could assist the performance happening live in the gallery or access on the Internet. On the web site, viewers could manipulate, remix the live footage streaming in real time. The viewers could create their own footage remixed from the live streaming, becoming part of the work in which theycould actively participate in this creative premise. This live-video-performance collaboration happenedin real time work between the performer and the viewers.
