The Muisca legend tells us that Bachué (Mother of humanity) came from the water, from a lagoon called Iguaque and after giving birth to humanity, she returned there.
... The reverie produced by water and the memory of the myth of Bachué, who, through water, flows from the formless to the concrete in her coming to earth, and from the concrete to the formless in her return to the world of the gods.
The work was created for the exhibition MADREDIAGUA.
