Descriptions & Essays
Three screens are linked to three body-building machines that visitors are invited to use. Doing so activates images of demonstrators projected onto the screens but blurred by the random appearance and disappearance of big brand logos. The whole set-up bears witness to world dominated by a state of political confusion and individual manipulation. >>shows Douce France, Contemporary Art Centre Abbaye de Maubuisson, Saint-Ouen l’Aumone, France, 2007-2008 (solo show) >>more Catalog (pdf) /french & english/ Press release (pdf) /french/ Elisabeth Lebovici A world in a convent /french /english / Liberation, Paris, France, January 28th 2008, Marie Lechner, L'Hexagone est pavé de bonnes intentions, (pdf)/french / l'Humanité, Paris, France, January 22 2008, Maurice Ulrich, Numérique et critique à l'abbaye (pdf)/french/ Connaisance des arts Paris, France, January 2008 Olga Kisseleva, la reine des méqias (pdf) /french / La Parisien, Christophe Lefevre, "L'Abbaye de Maubuisson a seduit", Paris, France, October 7th 2007(pdf) /french/ Fabrice Macaux L'HOMME INTÈGRE SE DÉSAGRÈGE /french / Christophe Kihm Olga Kisseleva : signs that don’t lie. /french /english/ Art Actuel ( N°52), Harry Kampiane, "Olga Kisseleva", Paris, France, September-October 2007(pdf) /french/ Bereg Moscow, Russia, December 2007, Olga Kisseleva (pdf) /russian /
